Screen Time Controls and Watch Analytics
Set daily limits, create viewing schedules, and see exactly what your kids watch and when. TinyTuber gives you the data and controls to manage screen time without the daily battles.
Daily Time Limits
Set a maximum number of minutes each child can watch per day. TinyTuber tracks active viewing time — only time when a video is actually playing counts toward the limit. Paused time and idle time do not count. When the daily limit is reached, Kid Mode automatically stops playback with a friendly message.
Setting up daily limits:
- 1Open your child's profile settings from the parent dashboard
- 2Navigate to the Screen Time section
- 3Set the daily limit in minutes (e.g., 30, 45, 60, 90, or custom)
- 4Choose whether weekends get a different limit than weekdays
- 5Save and the limit takes effect immediately in Kid Mode
Viewing Schedules
Beyond daily limits, you can control when your child is allowed to watch. Create viewing windows — for example, only between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on school days, or 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on weekends. Outside these windows, Kid Mode will not start playback even if time remains in the daily budget.
Per-Child Controls
Every child is different. A 4-year-old might get 20 minutes per day while a 10-year-old gets an hour. TinyTuber lets you configure time limits and schedules independently for each child profile. Changes to one child's settings never affect another's.
| Setting | Per-Child? | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Daily time limit | Emma: 30 min, Jack: 60 min | |
| Weekend limit | Emma: 45 min, Jack: 90 min | |
| Viewing schedule | Emma: 4-5 PM, Jack: 3-5 PM | |
| Assigned playlists | Each child sees only their playlists | |
| PIN code | Unique PIN per child profile |
Analytics Dashboard
TinyTuber does not just limit screen time — it helps you understand it. The analytics dashboard shows you exactly what your children watch, when they watch, and how much time they spend. All plans include 7-day analytics. Pro users get full historical data and advanced features.
Watch Time Heatmaps
See a visual heatmap of when your child watches throughout the week. Identify patterns, spot late-night viewing, and understand daily habits at a glance. Rows show days, columns show hours, and color intensity shows viewing time.
Session Tracking
Every Kid Mode session is logged with start time, end time, total active viewing, and videos watched. See which videos your child watches most, how long each session lasts, and whether screen time is trending up or down over time.
Video-Level Data
Know exactly which videos each child watches and how many times. See total watch time per video, completion rates, and which content types (educational, entertainment, music) make up the most viewing time.
Historical Trends
Track screen time trends over weeks and months. See daily averages, weekly totals, and long-term patterns. Compare weekday vs weekend usage to ensure healthy balance.
Notification Alerts
Stay informed without constantly checking. TinyTuber can notify you about important screen time events so you always know what is happening.
Pro Analytics Features
